In the project Not necessarily, realized during the NO YAWNING #3 exhibition at The New Theatre in Warsaw, we created a mixed media installation / space. A sculpture made of a pink sleeping cover seems to turn away from an amplifier making a loud, sound of a morning alarm. The third element - carrots turning on a rope - create a mobil-like element, an object often found in kid's bedrooms. Due to its circular movement it might resemble a timer or a clock. The original Polish title NIE-ko-NIE-cz-NIE is the only example of a Polish word containing a triple denial, since NIE means NO. The work relates to a quote from the book A Man Asleep by Georges Perec.
